Our Pastors

California Natives, Pastor Terrance & Julia Richmond moved their family to Canada in 2016 leaping out into their call, to live life on the Love Quest. Born & raised in Oakland, CA, Pastor Terrance Richmond grew up in the church and attributes his faith to the guidance of a praying grandmother. Yet it wasn’t until 2007 that he received a revelation that would change his life and so many others forever. He made a decision to intentionally host the presence of God and awaken to the power and calling the Lord had placed within him. It was this commitment that took him from a life of crime, addiction and complacency in East Oakland, CA, to his current platform as a Pastor, International Speaker and Recording Artist. His greatest passion is to activate people and point them to the promises, freedom and power available in and through the Gospel. As a family, the Richmonds are rooted in love and emanate joy that transcends cultural boundaries, prejudice and adversity, while inspiring and empowering others to do the same. It is evident that their conviction to teach, serve and love humanity is charged by their passion for the Word of God, their submission to the Holy Spirit and their love for Jesus Christ.

He & his wife felt the call to Vancouver, BC and in January 2016 they moved their family to Vancouver. Yet even after their initial purpose for the move changed, they knew that the call was to this city and they began to seek God on what was next. In January 2017, they established Love Quest International Church [LQIC], gathering with a group of 11 weekly on Tuesday evenings which quickly grew to being a weekly Sunday Evening gathering in October 2017. Over the course of the last 3 years, LQIC has grown to be a vibrant community that is built to to Love All Nations, Equip the Church, Mobilize the Equipped and Serve All.

We are elated to share with you this next season of The Richmond’s Love Quest and we invite you to experience it with us in person. As a church community, we are so humbled and thankful God would create such a purpose for such an amazing family and bless Canada with them at such a time as this.
